Robert E. Lee, Amati’s historic 19th century paddlewheeler ship model kit is exceptionally realistic. The hull is solid pine, and many other wooden parts are pre-cut birch. The superstructure is a modeler’s delight with its pilot house, cabins, machine turned smokestacks and boilers. A sheet of photo-etched brass parts gives your model eye-catching precision and detail. A complete set of wood, brass and Britannia metal fittings are included. Deck and cabin walls are planed in walnut and basswood.
