Dumas’ Akula is a current class of Russian nuclear attack submarine. The model is very detailed including a conning tower, periscope, snorkel and radar masts. It has a cruciform tail fin pod that houses the towed sonar array. This is a dynamic model, meaning it dives or surfaces via the action of the bow & stern planes, NOT by the flooding or emptying of ballast tanks.
