This is Mamoli’s new smaller version of the Bounty! Commanded by James Cook, the supply ship H.M.S. Endeavour was modified for a scientific expedition to the South Pacific. She set sail from Plymouth in 1768 and reached Tahiti in April of 1769. Mamoli’s plank-on-bulkhead kit features laser-cut frames and keel, and is double-planked in beech and walnut. Fittings include walnut deadeyes, boxwood blocks, beechwood grating, metal and wood anchors. Brass eyebolts and nails, metal lifeboat, burnished metal gunport covers, winch, helm and ornamentation, and a gilded lantern are only a some of the metal parts provided. Also includes 4 burnished metal cannons and 10 falconets. Includes all rigging line, silk-screened flags, display cradle and nameplate.
