41162 - Bandsaw

Micro Band Saw by Proxxon features a ribbed die-cast aluminum housing (not a tubular or sheet metal) with machined aluminum die-cast work table. Table tilts 15 degrees inward and 45 degrees outward and has a slot for the adjustable miter gauge. The machined 9-27/32” (250mm) sanding disc is driven by a twin ball bearing spindle. Electronic speed control ensures optimal results on wood, non-ferrous metal, plastic and Plexiglas. Self-adhesive sanding discs fix firmly in place and can be replaced quickly. A simple chart indicates recommended speeds on different materials. Includes miter gauge, two each 80 grit and 240 grit sanding discs.
