Sails

A sail is any type of surface intended to generate thrust by being placed in a wind, in essence, a vertically–oriented wing. Cast Your Anchor offers sail materials for different model ship sail applications. For static displays we offer fine ballooner sail cloth and silkspan. Silkspan is used for ship model sails that are displayed furled. We also offer 3/4 oz nylon material in various colors for radio controlled sail boat sails.

If you are not known to be a fine seamstress, we have a few professionals on board that will do the sewing for you.
